The OWLT-150AB-S/ OWLT-150AB-M is an enterprise
class IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b/g dual-band outdoor
Bridge and Wireless Access Point. It is ideal for
enterprises, campuses or off-site locations that
require LAN or Internet access without the
availability of wired networks to extend the network
coverage. OWLT-150AB-S/OWLT-150AB-M provides point to
point or point to multi-point connections. One unit
can be set as a Master base station while others will
be used in slave configuration.
Performance and Scalability
OWLT-150AB-S and OWLT-150AB-M units support WDS for
bridging to connect two networks in different
locations together through a wireless link,
eliminating the need of cabling and expensive leased
line.
Point to multipoint connection require 1 unit acting
as master and up to to 5 slave units, extend main
network to remote branch offices, warehouses or other
exterior buildings without leased lines.
OWLT-150AB-M is equipped with 4 N-Type connectors, 2 for 11a and 2 for 11g. OWLT-150AB-S is equipped with 3 N-Type connectors
and an additional embedded 17dBi panel antenna for
easy deployment. To complement these devices Linkpro
offers a variety of external antennas that can be
chosen for signal intensity and shaping the coverage
area.
Both IEEE 802.11a and 11g radios supports data rates of up to
54Mbps. Super A/G increases data rates up to 40-60
Mbps and Turbo A/G can increase data rates up to 108
Mbps.
High Power PoE Injector support simplifies deployment and
dramatically reduces installation costs.
Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) Radar detection used by the
Master dynamically changes to free channels. Slave
units will dynamically follow the change of master.
A RSSI indicator using LED lights is built into the exterior of
the OWLT-150AB-S/ OWLT-150AB-M. RSSI
readings can also be found in the Web interface.
Continuous Availability
Availability OWLT-150AB-S/OWLT-150AB-M is a fully
weatherproof robust outdoor unit with extended
operating temperature ranging from -40~60
℃with cold start using the built-in heater. This smartly
designed device guards against wind vibration, water,
shock, and more. Even a built-in lightning protector
is included.
Support for IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree Protocol ensures a loop
free network.
Enhanced Security
IEEE 802.1X authentication, Pre-shared key
authentication and MAC address authentication ensure
that only authorized users are allowed to access the
wireless network.
IEEE 802.1X support includes EAP-MD5,EAP-TLS,EAP-TTLS
and PEAP to provide strong, mutual authentication and
dynamic per user, per session encryption key
management.
Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) combines 802.1X user
authentication with enhanced, industry-compatible
encryption (TKIP). WPA2 and IEEE 802.11i include
AES-CCM, for data encryption and significantly enhance
wireless data privacy.IEEE 802.1Q compliant VLAN
support and tagging permit 64 VLANs to be
independently mapped to RADIUS server attributes.
Local wireless bridge filter, when enabled, prevents
communication between wireless devices associated with
the same access point.
Simple Management
Industry standard Command Line Interface (CLI) via
console port or telnet provides a common user
interface and command set for users to manipulate the
Bridge/Access Point.
Embedded user friendly web interface helps users
easily make quick configuration.
SNMP v1, v2, v3 network management are supported.
Dual flash images enables auto-recovery upon
unsuccessful software download.
