The IWC-818PH is a full featured, yet cost-effective H.264 Megapixel IP PoE camera for professional security surveillance and remote monitoring, which makes it an ideal choice for securing offices, shops and other indoor facilities. It also supports 802.3af PoE function which is allowed to receive data and power through Ethernet cable from power supply equipment such as PoE switch or PoE injector which solves the limitation of AC power supply at installation site.
In average, a H.264 with Megapixel camera has 50% reduction of bandwidth than MPEG-4 with Megapixel one. In this condition, users can save lots of bandwidth, which is money actually. With this H.264 Megapixel camera, sharp image quality is presented consuming less then 2Mb bandwidth. Requirement for high bandwidth is not a critical issue in Megapixel cameras anymore.
