Q5: I would like to ask a solution about IP camera and Wireless device,The distance between the cameras are 300meters.The big squares are building 10 level high.Between the building two distance known. It is L1 = 1500 meter, L2 = 2500 meter. The other building where are no marked distance there are the cameras. Each camers (IP server based cameras). We install top of the buildings WL-2000Ts.Please, advise me that how we could solve and manage to this system ?
In order to have a better transmit/receiving performance,we suggest to add 6 units of WL-2000BP in this environment.
1.Connect all Cameras to LinkPro Switch (SH-9216RT or SH-9224M)
2.Connect the Switch to WL-2000BP on the ground
3.The WL-2000BP on the ground connect to WL-2000D (on top of building A, D) via WDS function
4.WL-2000D (building A, D) connect to another WL-2000BP (on top of building) use cross-over cable
We would like to remind you some points.
a.The antenna used on building A & D should be "directional" high-gain antenna instead of omnidirectional antenna.
b.Our suggestion was based on wireless application algorithm, and it still depends on real installation on the spot.
c.If the building is very large as shown below and it would cause the transmission Line(cable) too long between antenna and wireless bridge which will make the signal loss too big to transfer the data, then such wireless structure has to be modified as the one on the bottom.

Use 3 of WL-2000BP and 1 switch on top of building, and connect all WL-2000BP tothat switch because the ethernet cable can extend to 100 meter, so the wireless bridge can placed beas close to the corners as possible.
Once again,we would like to emphasize that all wireless application(especially outdoor application) has to debug on the spot after initial installation. For example, if there is one company on high level and near top of building, when they also use same frequency for wireless transmission in the office, it will cause interference to the wireless transmission on top of building. |
